Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is the process of hair removal by means of exposure to pulses of laser light that destroy the hair follicle. It had been performed experimentally for about twenty years before becoming commercially available in 1995–1996.

Most people experience hair removal that lasts several months, and it might last for years. But laser hair removal doesn’t guarantee permanent hair removal. When hair grows, it’s usually finer and lighter in color. You might need maintenance laser treatments for long-term hair reduction.

Laser hair removal generally does not require any real downtime. Immediately after having laser hair removal, your treated skin will be red and swollen. Despite this, most people return to their everyday activities.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Intense Pulsed Light is a technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including hair removal, photorejuvenation as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases such as acne.

IPL treatment can be an effective way to treat a variety of skin conditions such as age spots, fine lines, acne, redness, and unwanted hair. You're likely to see good results with minimal side effects, but IPL therapy is not right for everyone.

IPL does not require much downtime. We recommend avoiding strenuous activities for the first 24 hours. Make-up can be applied 4 hours after treatment. Following an IPL treatment, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure as the sun rays can be damaging to your face

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars They can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures.

Treated areas take about one to seven days to heal after a light chemical peel. New skin might temporarily be lighter or darker than normal. After a medium chemical peel, treated skin will be red and swollen. You'll feel stinging.
